I find it interestingly ironic that an author so many years ago exactly pegged how our society would be, due to temptations and moral decline. I wish more people would read books of this nature and recognize the inherent changes we all need to make.  Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library Card Catalog

Okay, I admit it - I picked this book for the title. This is a "Meg Langslow Mystery" which can pretty much stand on its own. I haven't read the others, but I would probably enjoy those as well. Meg and her beau, Michael are planning to elope right after the family gathering for the Memorial Day weekend. Unfortunately, a body is discovered in the basement when Meg's dad starts digging a pit for the penguin enclosure. Well, they like it cool, but the body is a little too cold. Then, of course, there are the hyenas, wolves, and llamas to worry about (be careful, they spit!). Seems dear old dad is using Meg and Michael's new house as an adoption center for the animals from the zoo, since the zoo is closing. Suspects abound, and Chief Burke doesn't want Meg interfering in his investigation. Meg just wants the mystery solved before she and Michael make their escape!   Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library Card Catalog

Not very interesting, and kinda predictable. Written from the POV of a girl, it's essentially a long letter. Each chapter is accompanied with a picture of something from the girl's relationship w/ her ex boyfriend, and gives the story behind the item and reasons for why they broke up.  Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library Card Catalog
