Welcome to the Pleasant Hills Public Library Summer Reading Programs!

There's a program for EVERY AGE & READING ABILITY! Babies and toddlers are invited to join Wiggling Worms, a special program highlighting the importance of early literacy. Children not yet reading on their own, or just learning to read, are invited to join the Junior Diggers program and earn raffle tickets for reading together with an adult! Children who are reading on their own are invited to join the Earth Explorers club and earn raffle tickets based on the time they spend reading. Teens going into grades 6 - 12 are invited to join Beneath the Surface and earn a raffle ticket for every book read. And there's a program for adults too! Adults are invited to join Groundbreaking Reads and enjoy awesome weekly prizes and cool programs!

Join us for our annual Summer Reading Club Kick-off on Saturday June 8th from 1 - 3 pm at the Pleasant Kingdom Playground (behind the Pleasant Hills Borough building). Register for the Summer Reading Club of your choice and then enjoy a variety of games, crafts, and other fun activities! We'll end the party with ice cream sundaes! We hope to see you there!!!
